Tracy Sarkcess, the wife of African Rap god, Sarkodie, has laid out a stern warning that impersonation is a punishable offense to the fake accounts that have been set up in her name.

This came after one such account with the twitter handle '@TracySarlcess' announced that she, her husband, and their daughter, Titi, had arrived in Ghana early Thursday morning.

"Welcome to Ghana. @sarkodie and myself with Titi have arrived in Ghana. Thank God for traveling mercies." the account tweeted.

The news was immediately published by various blogs who got fooled by the semblance, thinking it was a tweet from Tracy Sarkcess herself. But Tracy Sarkcess, whose Twitter handle is "@Tracy Sarkcess was quick to send out a disclaimer that the account was not hers, but was in fact a parody account.

"Can you stop with this nonsense and fake account please?! Impersonating someone is a crime! If it’s a parody account fine but let it be known and stop deceiving people. It’s my name your playing with. Thank you & good morning”" she quickly asserted

She went on to highlight the need for verification on celebrity accounts, saying "Next thing you know, he/she will start asking ppl for momo as if it were me!."

The parody account can be distinguished from Tracy Sarkcess's main account as it has a different description that reads:

"The Parody One | Love Reigns Supreme Mgmt:+233(0)[email protected] Twitter: tracysarkcess Facebook: tracysarkcessofficial”
