Member of Parliament for Atebubu/Amantin, Sanja Nanja, has commissioned two mechanized boreholes in two communities in the constituency in fulfilment of a  promise he made in 2016.

The beneficiary communities were Bompa and Munchuso Dargati line.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Member of Parliament pledged to ensure that the constituents enjoyed potable water at all times since water crisis was a major issue in the area, adding the project was part of his core social responsibilities to give relief to residents who on daily basis had to struggle for potable water.

Finding water is a daily challenge to the people, he added, saying his swift intervention was to help reduce the stress and frustrations that people went through.

The MP said the project which cost more than ¢50,000 was pre-financed.

Both Nana Kwadwo Datia, Odikro of Munchuso Dagarti and Nana Moro Akwasi, Odikro of Bompa, thanked the MP for the gesture, saying the move was a step in the right direction.
