The scan results of Mohamed Salah is a major boost for fans of Liverpool FC after the prolific goal scorer limped off in Saturdays Premier League game against Leicester City.

Hamza Choudhury steamed into Salah and wiped him out for a yellow after Soyuncu bounced off the Egyptian in a foot race to prevent him from running into the box for the Red's to restore their lead.

Mane opened the scores for the Reds at Anfield in the 40-minute before James Maddison responded 10 minutes to full time. The English International’s reckless tackle on Salah in the 89-minute could have resulted into Liverpool’s second goal, and probably the winner.

The results of the scan revealed that Salah did not sustain any major issue through the tackle. According to report from the club, the Egyptian suffered a twisted ankle in the challenge and a possible return is expected since the injury is reported as not for a long-term.

Liverpool will play Manchester United at Old Trafford on October, 20 after the International break and the Egyptian still stands a chance of featuring although the club’s medical team has not come to a decision of whether he will be fit to play against struggling Red Devils.
