Salah soon to agree a £400,000-a-week contract from Liverpool
The player's agent, Ramy Abbas is reported to have travelled to England to negotiate a new deal.
Mohamed Salah wants a salary of £400,000-a-week to sign a new deal at Liverpool, according to the Telegraph.
The Liverpool forward has been exceptional with individual brilliance for the Reds in the current campaign, scoring 10 goals in 10 matches for the Reds. Although he still has two years remaining on his current contract after putting pen to paper on a five-year deal in 2018, it is expedient for the Premier League club to tie him on a long term deal to prevent any upsets.
Salah is currently earning around 237,000 euros per month, which is around 12 million euros per season.
His agent, Ramy Abbas has reportedly travelled to England to negotiate a new deal for the player and per Telegraph £400,000 is the amount on display for a new contract.
He is aged 29, Salah is considered to be playing on at a top level of his career and will be able to lead the Reds to some amount of trophies before he finally seeks the exit for retirement.
He has so far scored 135 goals in 213 games for the Merseyside club.
