Salaga South MP Donates Motor Bikes To Kulaw Ward To Aid Party Activities

The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Honourable Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah has donated motorbikes to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kulaw ward of the Salaga South Constituency of the Savannah region.

She handed over the motorbikes to the party Executives at Kulaw on Monday, May 17, 2021, to aid its activities in the area.

The Kulaw ward which comprises Abromase, Silmunchu, Kijewu, Akamade and amongst many communities received a total of 25 motorbikes.

In the run-up to the last parliamentary primaries, Hajia Zuwera made a promise to the Ward that she provide them with motorbikes and that is in fulfillment of her promise.

The donation was to empower the various branches of the party in order to ease their day-to-day activities for party at the grassroots level. The legislature indicated that the donation is in line with preparations towards rebuilding and restructuring the NDC party towards election 2024.

She, therefore, advised the executives to work their hearts out by making good use of the motorbikes in order to deliver victory for the NDC in the next general elections.

Meanwhile, the NDC Regional Youth Organiser in the Savannah Region and also the Chief Operations Manager in the Office of the MP, Alhaji Inusah Mahama indicated that the motorbikes are donated to the party and not to individuals.

He therefore cautioned them to use the motorbikes to assist the daily activities of the party within the area.

Mr. Gafaru Soale, chairman of the Kigbatito ‘A’ branch who spoke on behalf the Ward reign praises Hajia Zuwera and expressed appreciation to her.

He revealed that since 1992, the gesture by the MP is the first to be received to help in the NDC activities.

“We thank Hajia Zuwera so much” he empathized.

Mr Soale made a commitment to use the motorbike to the advantage of the party.

In a related development, the Hon. MP earlier donated fifteen (15) motor bikes to the Konkomba ward and made a firm promise to replicate similar donations in the Kafaba, Makango, Salaga and Kpembe wards.

Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah was accompanied by some regional and constituency Executives of the NDC.
