Sack Sports Minister Now Over Norway Visa Scandal–New Ghana Social Justice Forum Tells Akufo-Addo

THE New Ghana Social Justice Forum(NGSJF) has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to immediately sack the Sports Minister, Mr Mustapha Usif, for the recent Norway Visa Scandal.
"We hereby call for the resignation of the Sports Minister with immediate effect," the group stressed in a press statement copied to the Soireenews.com.
The statement which was singned by the leader of the NGSJF Yahaya Alhassan was copied to Office of the President,Diplomatic Missions, media and anti-corruption organisations.

FORCE HON YUSIF TO RESIGN AS. SPORTS MINSTER OVER SERIAL VISA SCANDALS, SCAM AND DISGRACE
The NGSJF, believe that the Sports Ministry has been reduced to an obscene Visa Crime scene under the administration of Hon. Usif Mustapha, nurturing Visa fraudsters at the Ministry, and abusing state documents. Hon. Mustapha has emerged as the most scandalous Sports Minister since independence.
I challenged the Ghana's Minister for Sports, Hon. Mustapha Usif, over his dealings with a rogue company titled: "Aiding And Abetting The Fraudulent Deals Of African Origin Travels"- dated on 30th May, 2022, but the action led to me being threatened by the Minister with arrest by the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI).
I had questioned an official letter he issued in support of the operations of African Origin Travels and Sports Tourism, a notorious travel agent whose C.E.O, Samson Deen , has over the years duped thousands of Ghanaians on the pretense of securing them various visas to travel outside Ghana.
This is their modus operandi ; they advertise their services to secure USA, UK, Schengen, and South American visas to the public. Those who show interest are locked down with huge non-refundable fees. For instance, for a recent sporting trip to Costa Rica trip, Ghanaians were made to pay the extortionist non-refundable deposit of GH¢ 5000 (nearly $1000 in 2022).
This meant that in case your visa application eventually proves unsuccessful, you have no visa and you do not get your money back, and that was what actually happened to hundreds if not thousands of Ghanaians. African Origin have used this tactic over the years to make monies from the gullible.
I officially protested the African Origin C.E.O, Samson Deen's practice to the Minister, at our meeting in June, 2022, but the Minister ignored our calls to withdraw his endorsement of the company, but rather, the Minister defended the extortion of The African Origin’s C.E.O, and arrogantly expressed his desire to work with him, because, Samson Deen heads multiple sports programs at the Sports Ministry.
"I would work with him today and tomorrow. Samson Deen is the president of African Paralympic Committee. Show me the evidence". The minister fumed at me.
I was vindicated because the rejection of our warning letter, by the Sports Minister, subsequently led to the defraud of lthousands of victims per the Sports Ministry’s advertisement of African Origin Travels and Sports Tourism, as The Traveling Agent for the Costa Rica under 20 World Cup, and The Commonwealth Games in United Kingdom, but the Ghana Football Association have distanced themselves from the scandal with a letter signed by the General Secretary Mr Prosper Harrison Addo dated on 6th June,2022;REF GFA/OM/ORG/VOL/142 upon our petition. It reads: ''Kindly note that African Origin was appointed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and not the GFA.Please ,kindly channel your grievances to the ministry''.
The new Ghana has the firm believe that the Sports Minister has a self-interest for working with Samson Deen despite our continued petition for the Minister to terminate all working relations with him.
The Sports Minister, Hon. Mustapha Usif, should be entirely blamed for the latest Norwegian visa scandal that has rocked the image of Ghana worldwide.
Mr. Samson Deen, is the Head of The National Paralympic Committee whose associates were involved in the now disgraceful Norwegian Visa Scandal.
The Minister and Mr. Samson Deen for that matter cannot exempt themselves from this scandal. The N.P.C has over the years exploited the predicament of the ‘disable’ group for visas as seen by group’s latest demonstration for justice at the house of parliament.
Relatively, the organisation has summon the Minister’s associate Hon. Ibrahim Sannie Vanbel at high court (Suit No. GT/0301/2022) to refund monies he fraudulently took from Zongo youth with false pretence of securing visas upon reports for justice at the New Ghana’s office.
Undoubtedly, Vanbel used the victim monies to bribe party executives for his on-going political ambition to become a member of parliament for Ayawaso North constituency whilst still evading court. This shines light on the evil culture of highest bidder which compounds corruption in Ghana.
We hereby call for the resignation of the Sports Minister with immediate effect.
