The Worldwide Leader of the Congregation of Theocracy Church, Apostle Dr Kadmiel Agbalenyoh has advocated for a total observance of Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease safety protocols to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in the country which death toll in Ghana has jumped to 533 following the death of 11 more Ghanaians.

"We have to take the washing of hands with soap under running water, using sanitiser and wearing of masks seriously as we observe hygiene in general and observe social distance and believe the disease is real,' Dr Agbalenyoh stressed.

Against the backdrop, the man of God called on churches to return those without nose masks from entering their premises, since this behaviour is dangerous.

He stressed the need for the churches to ensure the regular availability of liquid soap and clean water to wash hands well to prevent the disease.

He also advised Ghanaians and corporate organisations to strengthen the observance of the covid rules before admitting any person into their premises.

“Handwashing with soap under running water is mandatory for all, and so is the proper wearing of nose masks.”

Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com on the herculean problem of COVID-19, the Apostle continued that it is due to the 2020 political campaigns during which many people from all the parties flouted the safety protocols which resulted in the surge in the number of cases.

He stressed that men of God who preached that Coronavirus could be fought by faith and therefore did not promote the safety protocols did not do well in the fight against the disease at all stressing that some pastors words that the disease is non–existent is clear that religious and political misconduct led to the current increase in coronavirus.

Dr Agbalenyoh recounted that this disease known as the Black Death disease occurred in  Europe from 1347 to 1353 and about 25 million people died where they thought that it was the Jews who poisoned them.

The man of God indicated that if it is due to any sin "we as a nation have committed against God for which we are facing the calamity of this sought then God should forgive us"

He noted that unlike bacteria that can be prevented by a vaccine, a virus is difficult to handle.
