The Highest Chief Priest of Ga State in the Greater Accra Region, Nai Wulomo, Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III has called on the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to direct all state agencies and institutions to embark on cleaning exercises to lay off workers who are identified as  Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) persons.

According to him, the government must sack LGBTQ+ persons working in state agencies and institutions which would be the best way for the government to fight against same-sex relationships.

"We are saying that it is about time the government stops employing LGBTQ+ persons into leadership positions in government agencies and institutions because they are using their position to teach the young ones to practice the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer," Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III stated.

He stated that the traditional priests and priestesses in GaDangbe communities have vehemently rejected the practices of LGBTQI and described same-sex marriage as an abomination to the traditions and customs of the Ga State.

According to the traditional office holder, he and his elders including the traditional priests and priestesses will invoke curses of the powerful GaDangbe river deities and shrines on anybody or institutions who endorse and practice a same-sex relationship in the enclaves of Ga State.

He stressed that they will never allow the practice of same-sex marriage in the Ga State, and vowed to arrest and punish anybody or institutions caught in these abdominal acts in the area.

He warned that a great tragedy would befall anybody who would engage in practices of gay and lesbian or same-sex marriage in the country.

He stressed that almighty God is against the practices of same-sex marriage and that it is against God's creation on reproduction and a multitude of humans.

He said, after God created Adam, he realized the woman was the best for him and so he created woman from the ribs of Adams.

According to him, the country would incur God's wrath should the government of Ghana accept these evil practices, calling on the MPs to pass the anti- LGBTQI+ Bill into law.

Against this background, Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III has Parliamentarians pass the Anti-Gay bill to the Satisfaction of Ghanaians and ensure that the practice of it is prohibited in the country.

According to him, God made man and woman love themselves not man to man and woman to woman hence all eyes and ears are looking forward to them to do the needful to help save humanity and the Country at Large.

He said It is an abominable act and Parliament must be bold and boycott its legalization since traditionally our Culture prohibit such abominable act.
