The Portuguese will not play in Juventus Champions League fixture against Barcelona on Wednesday night.

Cristiano Ronaldo has questioned the efficiency of the PCR tests conducted since contracting coronavirus.

The Juventus player believes something is not right with his examination which has kept him in isolation for more than two weeks following his fist COVID-19 test whiles on international duty with Portugal.

CR7 was hoping to be available for Juventus Champions League fixture against Barcelona on Wednesday night in Italy but a second test on proved futile.

His final test on Tuesday was completed and despite being asymptomatic, the results revealed that he still has the illness which completely rules him out of the game.

In a message, his Instagram page, the former Real Madrid player wrote, “Feeling good and healthy! Forza Juve!”

The 35-year old has not played against Lionel Messi since his Los Blancos departure in July 2018.

Between hs time of joining Madrid from Manchester United in 2008, the Portuguese has played 35 games involving Lionel Messi. Of the games involving both, Messi was victorious 16 times to Ronaldo's ten with the remaining nine fixtures ending in a draw.
