Romelu Lukaku could make a U-turn over his Inter Milan future as Chelsea line up a third bid for the Belgian striker.

The former Manchester United forward made just 10 Premier League appearances at Chelsea before joining Everton for £28m in 2014.

Even though this summer could be one of the last opportunities Lukaku gets in moving to another elite European club, the striker will not look to force a move and would be content to remain at Inter.

Lukaku has had two successful years at the San Siro since joining from Manchester United in August 2019, scoring 64 goals and providing 19 assists in 95 appearances across all competitions.

Thomas Tuchel’s side recently had two bids for the 28-year-old rejected by the Serie A champions, with their latest offer worth around £85m plus left wing-back Marcos Alonso.

Lukaku believes he has unfinished business at Stamford Bridge and knows that he will finally be valued as a key asset at the club if he were to join this summer, The Sun Sport reports.

Tuchel's men are hoping to reunite with the former Blue star this summer with reports suggesting that, they will table a £110million offer following two failed bids.

Chelsea were keen on signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, but his £150m price tag has been deemed too steep and the club have turned their attention to Lukaku, who has been a standout performer in Serie A, as a result.

It seemed like a deal for the 28-year-old was off the cards as Lukaku instantly shut down any rumours linking him with a move away from the San Siro before Euro 2020.
