The Deputy Majority Leader who doubles as Member of Parliament (MP for Effutu  Constituency in the Central Region, Mr Alexander Afenyo Markin has cautioned the minority in Parliament to respect and accept the Supreme Court ruling on the two speakers voting for the passage of proposed Electronic Transaction (E-LEVY) bill.

The Deputy Majority Leader who doubles as Member of Parliament (MP for Effutu  Constituency in the Central Region, Mr. Alexander Afenyo Markin has cautioned the minority in Parliament to respect and accept the Supreme Court ruling on the two speakers voting for the passage of proposed Electronic Transaction (E-LEVY) bill.
At an engagement with the press in parliament, Mr. Afenyo Markin condemned a comment made by Minority Leader, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu indicated that the supreme court ruling on deputy speakers presiding over proceedings must have the mandate to vote and must count as part of a quorum to conduct business as "judicial support for the controversial proposed Electronic Transaction (E-LEVY).
He urged the minority to respect and accept any decision made by the supreme court and not to break down the institutions of the democracy.
He indicated that the NDC is destroying anything to sustain good governance. 
The lawmaker stated emphatically that going to court does not mean winning a case.
