Maintenance of roads is one of Ghana’s biggest issues, the roundabout at Lamashegu that is the first entering point to the regional capital, Tamale is in a deployable state. 

Soireenews visit to the area revealed that the current nature of the roundabout poses a great danger to road users and residents of the area.

Checks also show that vehicles find it difficult to use the roundabout due to the nature of how it has been damaged.

Deplorable roundabout

 The roundabout has turned into a pit, serving as a demerit to residents and users of the road and even causing accidents on that stretch

Some residents and road users speaking to Soireenews stated that the current nature of the road is affecting them badly adding that due to the deplorable nature of the road, dust is rampant and due to that people don't patronize their items how they use to do.

According to them, their health is on the line and have appealed to authorities to fix the road with urgency since its deplorable is running their investment and life.
