Residents cry over abandoned bridge.

Residents at Tanoso-Apatrapa new site in the Kwadaso municipal of the Ashanti region are crying bitterly over abandoned bridge. 

Speaking to k-Dee, the Residents made it known that, the bridge was commenced early 2018  and since then had been left untouched which is posing danger to the life of the people.

According to the Assemblyman, Hononrable Collins, the abandoned bridge sometimes leave them stranded particularly when it rains. it flows over its banks and people find it difficult to access the road. 

"Nobody crosses this bridge when it rains so we are pleading to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso municipality Honorable kingsley Nyarko to as matter of urgency to come to our aid.

"We are Ghanaians who pay taxes for the nation's development but we don't benefit from it", they cried.

Meanwhile the residents of Apatrapa New Site, Wade Harris, Great Achievers, Mount Hermon and its environs cries for assistance on proper drainage systems as gully takes over the areas.

Honorable Collins said his association has made a big effort to get the work done but yet to no avail.

However, he is pleading to the government and the authorities of Kwadaso municipal Assembly to complete the bridge and proper drainage system in the areas.
