Residents in Asueyi and its adjoining communities have cautioned the government as a matter of urgency to construct their roads for them.

Residents who reside in Asueyi in the Techiman North district urges the government to fix their bad road network from Techiman Grotto linking through Asueyi to Tenabea, Akonkonti, sumbour and some nearby communities daring the government to commerce work in 40days.

Engaging the media at Asueyi, they stated the roads has been in a deplorable state since it started raining and as a result a lot of challenges like flooding on the roads, bad bridges and potholes are mostly encountered which has led to an inability to cross to other sides for farming. Those who use other roots to locate their farms are also crying about their spoiled harvest.

They intimated that promises upon promises have been made by authorities and top government officials construct the roads but have yielded no results.

Speaking with the AssemblyMan Honorable Benjamin Yeboah he stated the road is a major canker to them stressing attempts were made by residents to collect 20gh from each person above 18 years in aid of fixing the road by themselves but this kind gesture was boycotted by the Techiman north assembly. " If we are not allowed to fix it on our own then within 40 days the government must fix it ".He insisted.

Nana Anthony Munufie the Asueyi traditional area chiefs representative also voiced expressed his unhappiness with their bad roads stating within the 40 days ultimatum if nothing relevant is done on the roads they would join the youth to demonstrate bitterly against the government.

Some residents raised many concerns about their bridges accounting for the losses they incur in their daily activities due to bad roads.
