Regional Minister calls on Assembly members to endorse nominees
According to Hon Saeed Muhazu Jibril, respected Assembly Members should consider the development of their respective Assemblies devoid of religious, political, or tribal affiliations.

The Savannah Regional Minister, Hon. Saeed Muhazu Jibril has called on Assembly Members in the various Municipal and District Assemblies across the Region to as a matter of urgency confirm the President’s nominees for the various Municipal and District Chiefs Executives without further delays to ensure kick-start of development.
He also tasked Assembly members to be focusing on developing their respective areas.
The Region contains seven District Assemblies and three have confirmed their District Chief Executives including West Gonja Municipal Assembly, North Gonja and Central Gonja Districts.
The aforementioned Assemblies overwhelmed confirmed with 100 per cent endorsement by the Assembly Members, however, the Regional Minister, appealed to the various Assembly Members of the remaining four assemblies, including East Gonja Municipal, North East Gonja District, Bole District and Sawla Tuna Kalba District to 100 per cent endorse the President's nominees.
He made this known during the confirmation process of Hon Kamara, the DCE for Central Gonja District on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Buipe.
According to Hon. Saeed Muhazu Jibril, respected Assembly Members should consider the development of their respective Assemblies devoid of religious, political, or tribal affiliations.
“I want to appeal to all Assembly members to place the development of their respective Assemblies devoid of religious, political or tribal affiliation”.
He further urged members of the various assemblies to work with the various standing orders that bind them in their daily activities.
