Ghanaian legend Reggie Rockstone has replied to Shatta Wale's claim that he has not made any impact in rap music with a cool-headed reply that has earned him widespread respect.

The dancehall king, Shatta Wale, blamed Reggie Rockstone for the introduction of rap music in Ghana, which has changed the perspective of the game and has contributed to the disrespectful lifestyles of the rap artistes in the industry.

Shatta Wale was indirectly reacting to Sarkodie’s trending Subzero song.

Shatta laid the blame squarely at the doorstep of Reggie Rockstone, saying the introduction of rap music by Reggie into the Ghanaian music landscape has given the opportunity to people like Sarkodie to get up and record diss songs aimed at fellow colleagues.

The veteran Hiplife star calmly replied his "younger brother" with a video, which he posted on the internet recently. He did not throw shots or reply Shatta Wale's insults, instead the experienced singer reminded the controversial Dancehall artiste that he has indeed influenced the new generation positively with his rap music contrary to what Wale said.

He also told him that he impacted on him and other stars, winning Kora Awards and bringing huge stars like Beenie Man and other international starts through rap music.
