The Head pastor of the Presbyterian church at Sampa in the Jaman North District of the Bono Region, Reverend Christian Johnson Obodai has asserted that the government and the policymakers of the country must institute capital punishment for ritual killers and all others who kill people for other reasons to serve as a deterrent to others.

He stated that there were laws in the Bible that depict that whoever kills with a sword must die from a sword hence there is a need for the same thing in our Constitution to ensure that evildoers are punished based on their actions indicating that it is unfortunate when people are sent to life imprisonment on the bases of killing a soul with which a lot of maybe contemplating as to whether or not the culprit is still in cells.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa, Rev. Obodai made a case that when there is evidence to support a killing incident that may be leveled against someone, that person must be sentenced to death, though the dead victim will not come back to life this he said will serve as a warning to others who may be planning to kills or undertake any actions tantamount to killing.

Reverend Christian Obodai Johnson stressed the content of the information being telecast on the various television station in the country denoting that these negative contents have largely contributed to the recent killings hence the authorities must act now to ensure that these TV stations that telecast occultism and money rituals contents are closed down to ensure sanity in the media space and prevent its future effects on the younger generations.
