Real Madrid play a must-win game against Galatasaray in Istanbul on Tuesday night, yet Zinedine Zidane has decided not to call up Luka Modric, Gareth Bale and Lucas Vazquez after their respective injuries.
The trio were unable to play in Sunday night's defeat away to Real Mallorca, but three players who have returned to the squad after missing the Mallorca game are Toni Kroos, Eden Hazard and Dani Carvajal.
Kroos had been carrying an injury, while Hazard missed the game to attend the birth of his fourth child, and Carvajal was simply rested ahead of the crucial Galatasaray match.
