The newly elected President of the Private Universities Students' Association of Ghana (PUSAG), Mr Ibrahim Issah,has pledged to promote autonomy and collaboration among private universities in Ghana. 

He aims to ensure these institutions operate independently from government entities, driven by their own initiatives to foster growth and development.

Key Objectives

Autonomy : Empower private universities to self-govern and make decisions.

Collaboration: Unite members to work towards common goals.

-Economic Growth: Attract foreign students, generating revenue through dollar-denominated fees.

Ibrahim Issah emphasized the government's authority to provide guidance while acknowledging private universities' potential to boost Ghana's economy.

 During his address at the 16th Annual Congress of PUSAG at Kessben University College in Kumasi, he outlined his vision for the newly elected executive to unite members and enhance private universities.

By promoting independence and collaboration, PUSAG aims to create better institutions, ultimately benefiting students and Ghana's economy.
