The Wenchifie district Pastor of the church of Pentecost in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region, Pastor Samuel Yirenkyi has asserted that pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Pastor Samuel Yirenkyi revealed this when NPP Parliamentary aspirants hopeful in the Wenchi constituency, Albert Ameyaw Asubonteng popularity known as The Messenger party with 100 widows and donated to them during the Christmas celebration.
The items, included bags of rice, fowls.
The donation worth several thousands of Ghana cedis is aimed at supporting the widows during festive seasons.
The widows were from all 29 electoral areas within Wenchi constituency.
Mr Albert Ameyaw Asubonteng says the offer is his contribution to put smiles on the faces of the needy and vulnerable during the Christmas.
It was all joy as the beneficiaries took turns to receive the items from Albert Ameyaw Asubonteng and his team.
They however commended the generosity of him for feeding them.
