About 350 pupils of Yindure Primary and Junior High school are suffering, due to the lack of furniture and learning materials in the school, a situation which may lead to many children dropping out of school due to negligence of authorities.

For this reason, teachers, parents and Pupils of Yindure primary and Junior High School in the Upper East Region are calling on the government, NGOs, and individuals to come to their aid.

When Soireenews visited the school, it was observed that teachers were not available to guide learners. Following investigations, when teachers sometimes report to school, pupils won't also show up especially in the rainy seasons.

According to the students, they are moralized to go to school to sit and write on the bare floor due to lack of availability of educational materials.

Furthermore, their building has become a death trap which is a threat to their lives and for fear of been victims, most of them have abandoned school.

This circumstance has necessitated some students sitting under trees to study.

They are, therefore, appealing to the government and other stakeholders to come to their aid.
