Projects Galore Under NPP And Hawa Koomson In Awutu Senya East
Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region who doubles as the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Mrs, Mavis Hawa Koomson has been praised by the constituents for bringing social and infrastructure projects and programmes which are improving the lives of the people in her constituency.

New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region, has showcased massive unprecedented social and infrastructure intervention developmental projects and programmes so far initiated by the current government under the leadership of Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Mrs. Mavis Hawa Koomson and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, which were improving lives of the constituents in the various electoral areas within the constituency.
These lives improving and charging projects and programmes being spearheaded by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led NPP government and the MP through the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly which is one of the twenty-two districts in Central Region, Ghana are visibly to see in their respective implementation communities.

who disclosed this in an interview with Soireenews.com noted that these sector-based projects are centered on education, energy and security, sanitation, water, health, roads and transports, social welfare as well as youths and sports among others.
On the roads and transports, Nana Kofi Ntiamoah stated that there were ongoings construction of works of the roads including the asphalt overlay from Kasoa- Okru Nkwanta, Ghana Flag, rent Control, Jo emends link road,Walantu Down to TopHill and CP Last stop, Akwelley Newtown linking Opeikuma, and Akwelley Transformer to Obom, Datus Junction to Last Stop
He stated that there have been construction of the roads extension projects of Akweley Cross River, Akweley Transformer – Lamptey Last Stop and Lamptey Big Tree ,Extensions of Blue City, Blue Cross Junction through to Opeikumah Town
Additionally, he noted that there have been completion of the construction of Freetown linking Kasoa new market,High Tension Oboum Road and Bawjiase, Kaemebre to Opeikuma and Ultra-Modern Lorry Terminal With Offices at Kasoa Zongo road to boost easily transportation system in these areas

On the area of education, he pointed out that there have been completion of the construction of the various educational infrastructures including the 3 Unit Classroom Block at Iron City, Library/ICT Centre at Otas City, 3 Unit Classroom Block at Banat Abdallah School, Kasoa Newtown, Toilet Facility at St Martha's SHS, 6 Unit Classroom Block at Kasoa Ofaakor, Awushie Tetteh,12 Unit Classroom Block at Kasoa Amuzukope, 6 Unit Classroom Block at Awushi Tetteh (Jei River), 6 Unit Classroom Block at Ofaakor M/A Cluster of Schools, 6 Unit Classroom Block (Phase 1) at Ofaakor-Gada, a Storey 12 Unit Classroom Block at CP Islamic Research, a Storey 12 Unit Classroom Block, Emmanuel Presby at Kasoa-Zone 6, School Wall at Odupongkpehe Zion School and 12 Unit Classroom Block with Auxiliary facilities at Islamic school -Akweley
He mentioned that there are ongoings construction of 3 Unit Classroom Block at Islamic Research CP, 6 Unit Classroom Block at Kasoa Emmanuel Presby and a Storey 12 Unit Classroom Block at Akweley Anglican
On the health, he indicated that there are massive health projects were constructed and completed within the municipality.
These, according to him, includes CHPS Compound at Kpometey, CHPS Compound at Ofaakor Gada, Kasoa Polyclinic at Evalip, CHPS Compound at Amuzukope, 1 No. CHPS Compound at Iron City and Ultra modern Clinic With Nurses Quarters and Doctor's Bangalow at Kasoa-Adom Estate.
Articulating on the environment, water and sanitation improvement in the Constituency, the NPP kingpin mentioned that under the current leadership of the NPP, there have been
completion of the construction of the water sanitation and hygiene facilities including the Community/Institutional 10-Seater Wc Toilet Facility at Opeikuma Old Town Community/ Institutional 10-Seater Wc Toilet Facility at New Market, Community/Institutional 10-Seater Wc Toilet Facility at Iron City, Community Mechanized Solar Powered Water Systems at Akweley, Mechanized Borehole And Water at CP Everlip , Mechanized Solar Powered Water System at Awutu Camp Prisons, 10-Seater WC Toilet Facility at Amuzukope, 20-Seater WC Toilet and Bath Facility at Afaakor-Alico, 10-Seater WC Toilet Facility at Timber Market, Mechanized Solar Powered Water Systems at Peace Town, Mechanized Solar Powered Water Systems at Opeikuma, Community Mechanized Solar Powered Water Systems at Kasoa-Gada, Community Mechanized Solar Powered Water Systems at Ofaakor New Town-2, Mechanized Solar Powered Water System at Kasoa-Awushie Tetteh, Water Extension Project at Ashtown and Water Extension phase 1 at Kasoa-Adam Nana.
He pointed that the Assembly through the government onstructed of Durbar Grounds at Ofaakor to improve chieftaincy, religious and tourism in the area.
On the energy, security and government, we have seen to the completion of Construction of Fire & Ambulance Post at Kasoa Township, MCD Bungalow at Awushi Tetteh, Municipal Administration BLOCK at Ofaakor, Police Post At Awushie Tetteh, Police Post At Kasoa Iron City, Police Post at Kasoa Township, Bulk Electricity Power Station near Kasoa Bible Collage, MCE Bungalow at Awushi Tetteh, Ofaakor Zonal Council Office at Ofaakor, Extension Of Electricity to Some Communities such as Gada, Congo Villa, Opeikumah, Amuzukope, Andam and installation/fixing of about 3,000 Street lights and still ongoing.
He maintained that the government has also seen to the completion of the constructions various market centres.
He disclosed that the government has also through the Assembly constructed and handed over some marketing facilities including market Sheds at Evalip, Market Sheds at Kasoa Old Market, Modern Market at Kasoa Iron City.
He stated that there are ongoings construction works in some market centres including Old Market Stores at Kasoa Old Market a warehouse under one district one warehouse (1D1W) policy at Kasoa New Market and paving of Kasoa New Market .
"Looking at the aforementioned projects that the NPP government has done in the constituency, one could quickly pronounce that the NDC wasted the time of the Awutu Senya East Constituents in their 8 years in government.
"We are challenging NDC to prove us wrong with any of the projects we have mentioned. Let the NDC in the constituency hallucinate to believe that the NPP government has not done anything in the constituency. Ghanaians are enlightened enough to see the good work of the government," he stressed.
He assured the citizens that Honourable. Hawa Koomson and the government will not relax on their mandate.
According to him, the government will continue to serve the people until Ghana becomes the country we all wish for.
He stressed that 'We know Ghanaians have weighed NPP and NDC and they have realised that NPP is the only political party that can lead Ghana to the Promised Land.
"As a result, we are appealing to everyone to continue supporting the NPP government so that it can fulfil every promise made to Ghanaians. We believe that together we can build Ghana, irrespective of the economic challenges," he stressed.
