Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang honoured the invitation of the Calvary Methodist Church at Adabraka

Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang honored the invitation of the Calvary Methodist Church at Adabraka today, 3rd July 2022 for a Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the New Chapel Project. 

Other dignitaries present at this historic event include the Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Opare Osei and his entourage, and the Greater Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso East, Honorable Henry Quartey.

As tradition demands, the government delegation led by the Chief of Staff was first introduced.

These two individuals were welcomed by the congregation with claps by way of welcoming them to the church premises.

As it got to the turn of the Good Professor the officiating Rt. Rev, introduced her to the congregation, there was a spontaneous shout of joy and clapping which lasted well over a couple of minutes to the extent that the entourage of the Chief of Staff was visibly seen so discomforted by the overwhelming welcome that was accorded Professor by the entire congregation.

Later Professor was called upon to help in the unveiling of the plaque in honor of the church and also make a presentation to Rev Gifty Afenyi Dadzie.

The event ended at about 14.00hrs without any unusual occurrence.
