Pro-NDC Group Lambasts Ashanti Regional Executives -For poor performance in 2020 showdown

A group calling itself EAGLE EYESIGHT, has petitioned the leadership of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) on issues pertinent to the 2020 General election in the Ashanti Region.
The group consists of members within the NDC family across all the sixteen regions of the country.
This to the group,NDC as a party didn't make adequate preparations towards the general election in the Ashanti Region,resulting in the poor results.
Speaking in am interview with Soireenews.com, the Convener of the group, Mr Patrick Ndego expressed disappointment in the conduct of some party executives in the Ashanti Region during the 2020 general election.
He called on the National Executives Committee (NEC) to act upon the Council of Elders recommendations by taken action against the Ashanti Regional Executives of the NDC.
"If people like Koku Anyidoho, Stephen Atubiga could be suspended because of a mere comments they made against the party, I'm surprised the leadership of the NDC in Ashanti region are still at post despite the Council of Elders report which has indicted Mr Augustine Nana Kwasi and Kwame Zu," he opined
On the other hand General Secretary for NDC , Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia said the party is not aware of any such committee as well as the report findings.
He further advised the group to present their petition to the appropriate quarters as the constitution of the party demand from a party members or groups.
He therefore thanked the group for wanting to use the right channel in showing their consent and not opting for violent approach.
