 President John Dramani Mahama has emphasized the importance of leaders considering the far-reaching consequences of their decisions on ordinary citizens. 

Delivering a heartfelt tribute to the late CEO of KAMA Group of Companies, Nana Dr. Agyekum Addo, Mahama lamented the devastating impact of the previous government's Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP) on countless individuals, including Dr. Addo.

Mahama's poignant remarks underscored the profound effects of leadership decisions on citizens' lives. He appealed to leaders to prioritize citizens' welfare when formulating policy decisions, emphasizing the weighty responsibility that rests on their shoulders. "When we make decisions, we must be cognizant of the fact that they have far-reaching consequences, affecting countless individuals and families," Mahama reflected.

 President mahama also offered condolences to the bereaved family, encouraging them to take pride in the enduring legacy left behind by Dr. Addo. His words served as a poignant reminder of the importance of empathy and responsible leadership in shaping the lives of citizens.

Accompanying the President to the funeral grounds included the Chief of Staff Hon. Julius Debrah, the Regional Minister Madam Rita Awatey, the Regional Chairman Dr. Mark Oliver Kevor, the Regional Secretary Jamal Konneh, the Regional Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi Esq and other Regional Executives.
