Pregnant women To Avoid  Self-medicated Drugs
Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ama Dansowaa Maternity Clinic at Dadieso in the Suaman District of Western North Region, Madam Josephine Ama Dansowaa,
urged pregnant women to avoid the intake of alcohol and other self-medicated drugs.
Madam Dansowaa who has more than 20 years' experience as a midwife said pregnant women should contact their midwives and do not be reluctant to go to hospital to be assessed. 
She said that, while some activities had been changed due to the climate change, especially concerning food items with chemicals, she therefore urging pregnant women to be medically checked.
She stated; "We've had to make some changes in line with conviction to midwifery guidance".
Speaking in an interview with Nyamekye Radio, Madam Dansowaa added that antenatal care is still being provided, therefore advising pregnant women to avoid the intake of alcohol, inhaling of smokes and enema.
