A section of level hundred students of the University of Ghana, Legon, are facing huge tasks over the introduction of online lectures due to the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.

A source to Soireenews Correspondent, William Ofori indicates that due to network jams, bad internet reception and links, Political Science students could not attend online lectures this week.

Many students had to trek from different websites in order to engage in online lectures but all efforts proved unsuccessful.

In some instances, only five students out of over three hundred had access to teaching which provoked the lecturer to leave the online schedule unceremoniously.

A history student on her part said they were expected to have their first online lecture experience this week but the authorities informed them it will be possible next week due to challenges, even though, the authorities have promised to address them before the beginning of next week Monday.

"They (authorities) have promised to get the challenge resolved on by next week. We are hoping so because the poor network has delayed lectures in my history class. I learn on my own from my lecture slide yet I join other classes to know whether there has been an assignment given."
