‘Politicians pose the challenge in fighting crime’- Police   

The Arms and Ammunition Officer of Nkoranza South Police Command, Shadrach Turkson, has attributed the inability of the security Services to effectively fight against crime to political interference.

Speaking to the media, he reiterated the service’s commitment to fighting crime and restoring sanity in the system stressed that politicians were making it difficult to achieve this goal.

Mr Turkson assured residents of the Municipality that robberies at mobile money points and fuel stations would be a thing of the past, adding the command has formed a task force to patrol fuel stations and mobile money vendors.

He implored business owners to employ personal security personnel to help curb the canker.
