Police Stop Controversial Solidarity Health Walk Of Ga Youths  

Accra Regional Police Commander Dcop Duuti has called on the immediate suspension and halt of the proposed Solidarity Walk planned, organized and slated for Saturday 28th June,2025.

The decision to halt the proposed walk was called off completely by the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander Dcop Duuti,due to a clear case of security breach and likelihood of chaos and clashes to occur in the course of the walk. 

The two Ga Mantse claimants King Boni Tackie Adama Latse II, and King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II factions are likely to course mayhem during the said proposed Solidarity Walk slated for Saturday 28th June 2025.

The request was made possible for the peace within the capital to prevail. 

It could recalled that the recent Appeal Court Judgement of 3:0 win in favor of King Boni Tackie Adama Latse II against King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II ( Kelvin Tackie) sparked public sentiment and agitation with the youth joining the campaign to issue threat message among themselves on each other's interest, affiliation and support for their chief. 

The situation immediately created some level of tension from each ones camp to rally their choice and aggressive support for their choice to be maintained as against the Rule of court and decision by the three panel judges. 

These even though is an upfront of the  court judgement and against the Rule of Law resulted from a press statement issued by the Sitting GA Mantse King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and further contemptuous pronouncement that was contained in his press release. 

It is against these background that a complain was made to the security operations within the jurisdiction of the proposed Solidarity Walk for the two Ga Mantses.

Even though one of the intentions of the followers was to create awareness for the Appeal Court Judgement in favor of King Boni Tackie Adama Latse II,the other was to seek audience and support for the public sentiment against the appeal court judgement which completely went against King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II. 

This prompted his utterance and pronouncement of against the judgement and which seemed to incite the youth against the decision of the court. 
The result was the proposed Solidarity Walk slated for Saturday 28th June 2025 but was reported to the police and the various security operatives to halt the walk. 

The Ga Abola youth chief Nii Tetteh Mowaamo was invited to appear before the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander Dcop Duuti and queried over his involvement in the intended solidarity walk and warned to suspend the upcoming walk being organized to get the  youth in support of Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II on the streets without a police approval. 

The youth chief of Accra appeared before the commander Dcop Duuti at exactly 3:30pm and was warned to desist from the proposed walk but he was quick to respond to the commander that he is not the organizer of the said walks by the two faction Chiefs and so he has no ideas to that program.

The delegation of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II led by his linguist was also invited and warned to desist from any public gathering or proposed Solidarity Walk in his favor. 

Finally the representative of King Boni Tackie Adama Latse II was also called upon who arrived with a letter to debunk their involvement to the alleged solidarity walk in favor of King Boni Tackie Adama Latse II. 

For now tension on the Situation has been brought under absolute control as all parties has been restrain from holding any public gathering on the said stipulated day.
