The NDC executives of Okaikoi North, knowing the hectic task ahead of them in the limited registration process, have decided to sleep at the centre to ensure that they have their members registered as early as possible.

The NPP, seeing the strategy of the NDC, have used dubious ways to thwart their efforts.

At around 5:30 a.m., on date fateful date when the Muslim organised themselves to pray, the above named assembly members brought in thugs with cutlass, knives, sticks, etc. Took their phones, money, and whatever they could find from them.

When the others got wind of it and rushed there, they got to their heels, but unfortunately for Patrick Awuku and his aid, they couldn't run fast enough and were arrested and sent to the Achimota Police Station.
