"Playing against Liverpool is non-stop" - Jamie Carragher
Liverpool came from a goal down to win against Spurs at Anfield
Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher has described the Reds performance against Spurs yesterday as a ‘non-stop’ play.
Jurgen Klopp’s side won 2-1 against Spurs at Anfield to extend the points to six after Manchester City closed the gap on Saturday afternoon in a 3-0 win against Aston Villa.
Harry Kane tapped in a post rebound in the first minute of the game before Jordan Henderson cancelled the lead with a captain’s pouch. Sadio Mane was fouled in the box by Aurier to give Liverpool a penalty as Salah set up to hit the ball past Gazzaniga.

Speaking on Sky Sports yesterday after the game, Carragher praised the Reds for their intensity describing it as a ‘nightmare’ to play against them.
"Liverpool were just the better team. They just steamrollered them. That's a Liverpool performance, that. Man City don't win games like that, Man City win games differently, and actually look better on the eye,” he said.
"It makes you think sometimes they're a better team, the way they play and the chances they create, but playing against Liverpool is non-stop. Spurs couldn't get out. Every time they got the ball, someone was on top of them. They don't have De Bruyne in there, but it's just non-stop. It must be a nightmare to play against."
Liverpool will host the Gunners at Anfield on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday before playing Aston Villa on Saturday.
