Speaking at the day sensitization workshop for sachets water producers Association in Ahafo Regional Capital, Goaso on proper management of plastic waste as part of activities to mark this year's World Environment Day on the theme: "Only one Earth" said the environment protection is a collective responsibility but no EPA.
The Ahafo Regional Director of Environmental Protection Agency EPA, Dr. Jackson Nyantakyi said plastic waste recycling is a laudable initiative resulting in job creation, boosting the economy, reducing sanitation-related diseases, reducing flooding, reducing water and air pollution, and improving the g the quality of the environment for human life.
