There is uneasy calm at the Pentecost University, the private university founded by the Church of Pentecost located at Sowutuom in the Ga Central municipality of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. 
The current situation has followed after the management of the University has protested vehemently against the unauthorized collection and misappropriation of the students' fees by the dismissed staff of the University, Mr. Clement Ebo Arthur.
The letter of the notice to the students dated Thursday December 22, 2022 written by the management of the University signed by Mr Foster K. Amoani which was intercepted by Soireenews.com reads in part; "the Pentecost University is hereby informed that Mr Clement Ebo Arthur who was a temporal staff with the University assigned to the Students Support Unit  was summarily dismissed and handed over to the police for further investigations.
The letter stated that "all students who paid fees to Mr Arthur should kindly liaise directly with Sowutuom District Police Command of Station to assist in the refund of their money.
The letter which was copied to the Vice Chancellor, key officers, Acting Internal Auditor of the University among others cautioned the students to pay their fees directly at designated banks
