His comments followed a press conference held by some Chiefs in Tamale and the Sagnarigu traditional area, where he (Naa Bawa Fuseini) was cautioned to desist from holding and tagging himself as the chief of Tamale.

Naa Bawa addressing Journalists yesterday Tuesday at his Dakpema Palace mentioned that elders and residents of Tamale nearly poured their anger over the pronouncement made by the Chief's couple of weeks ago.

"The chiefs pronouncement didn't go down well with the residents and some key figures in the traditional setup, I had to call them to order, am still appealing to everyone in Tamale to exercise restraint and allow Peace to prevail, what I need is peace and nothing but peace, I don't have problem with the chiefs, this is my reign and Ya-Naa's reign as well, for that matter we will not allow individuals to use their score to create feud in Tamale".

"Without peace in Tamale, it will be difficult for investors to create jobs for the youth, buying and selling will not be possible, we can't farm, children cannot go to school".r

According to him, Tamale being the center of the Northern Region need absolute peace for development.

"I know many are still unhappy about the turn of events but am using this medium to appeal to everyone in Tamale to forget and preach peace, I won't allow my reign to be rude by any group of persons". He cautioned.

Furthermore, a leading Member of the Palace Mr. Basharu Dabale told Journalists that the conference at the Dakpema's Palace is aimed to calm tensions in the Metropolis to prevent unforeseen incidents.

He advised that the Paramount chiefs ought to have used diplomatic means to correct what they deemed unfit at the Dakpema's Palace, and not jump into the media space.
