Popular Ghanaian media guru, Abeiku Aggrey Santana has expressed his support for the President's decision to lift the ban on the three-week lockdown in Greater Accra and Kumasi. His support comes amidst the flurry of diverse opinions from different Ghanaians; with some in support and against the President's decision.

He stated that the Ghanaian government thus far has been making all their decisions in the best interest of the people and he believes that this one is no different. He called for support of the decision amidst the controversial comments pouring in against the decision.
He stated that the action suggest that God has been listening to Ghana's prayers and has enabled the nation to get a step ahead of other countries.

"The president’s decision to lift the restriction or ban is the best because we have prayed to God to take us out of this problem. We have been praying to God for an answer and God has touched the heart of the king. I’m not speaking from the statistical or hypothetical point of view but we have been praying. In my life."

"I have never done anything like a live video on social media but I was compelled to do it. I put my home on display just to pray with Ghanaians, which I have never done before. For the first time in my life I was led by the spirit to stand in for Ghana, Africa and the children of God across the world,” he stated.

Using himself as an example, Abeiku recounted how for the first time in his life, he was compelled to conduct a live prayer session on social media and intercede on behalf of the country. He added that with all the countless prayers offered by Ghanaians, the president’s decision shouldn’t be criticized because it is a sign of God’s intervention. He still maintained that all other social distancing measures be observed indicating that churches, schools both public and private, will remain shut.
