Hip hop legend, Snoop Dogg, pop star Billie Eilish and iconic rock band the Red Hot Chili Peppers are expected to perform at the Paris Olympic Games Closing Ceremony on Sunday, August 11, 2024, according to sources.

According to a report published by the outlet on August 8, the three artists will feature in the handoff of the Summer Olympic Games from Paris to Los Angeles, California, in a mix of pre-taped and live performances.

Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish and Red Hot Chili Peppers are natives of Los Angeles. Snoop carried the Olympic Torch ahead of the opening ceremony of the Paris Games.

The trio are the latest big name to join the Olympic handover, with Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise poised for an Olympics Ceremony stunt.

At the end of Sunday’s Closing Ceremony, The Mayor of Los Angles Karen Bass will accept the Olympic Torch and bring it across the pond from France.

This will  kick off the countdown to the LA Games, which will take place from July 14 to July 30 in 2028.

It will be the first US Summer Olympics Games to take place in over 30 years, with the last Summer Games taking place in Atlanta in 1996.
