The Oyoko) a family, royals of Abadwum has denied Prof. Amoako Tuffour as Chief of Abadwum few days after his enstoolment.

Some indigenes of Abadwum invoked multiple curses on the queen mother of Edubiase, Nana Akua Dwum II for choosing a chief who is not royal while nobles exist in Abadwum.

Professor Joe Amoako Tuffour was enstooled as Abadwumhene in the Edubiase traditional council of the Ashanti region.

The event was one to behold as indigenes throng the Edubiase palace to witness something they have been longing for decades. It was attended by prominent people of all walks of life and took place in the palace of the Edubiasemanhene on the 9th of September,2021.

For 27 years, Abadwum has been without a chief, a thing Edubiasemanhene blames for the lack of development in Abadwum.

Briefing the press in Abadwum, the Gyasehene Abusuapanin, Nana Akwasi Pinkrah said, they will fight until the right person is made chief for the community.

The Abusuapanin alleged that the queen mother of the Edubiase traditional council Nana Akua Dwum II took money from Nana Amoako Tuffour before making him the chief which is an abomination, hence the queen mother's installation of Prof Tuffour.

The people of Abadwum stormed the deep forest where their great Grandfathers have been laid, they chanted war songs and invoked curses with schnapps, calling their ancestors to come to their aid.
