Over 1k Ahafo Residents Poised to Welcome New Minister Tomorrow

Over one thousand residents of the Ahafo Regional capital, Goaso are expected to welcome the newly sworn-in Minister of the region, Mr. George Yaw Boakye for the first time after his appointment by the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The minister is expected to touch down in Goaso tomorrow, Tuesday 16th March 2021.

He is expected to enter the Region via Bechem-Junction, he will then drive through Acherensua, Hwidiem where his final destination will be at the Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) at Goaso.

The General public is entreated to give him a very rousing welcome in Accordance with the COVID-19 protocols.

More than one thousand of the Ahafo people especially, NPP supporters and sympathizers are therefore expected to meet the minister.

Mr. Frimpong Andrews who is the personal aid to the regional Minister has called for unity among the rank and file of the New Patriotic Party in the region to help fast-track the region development as the new minister assumes office tomorrow.
