Amantin Senior High School according to the authorities has been neglected by the Ghana government.

The traditional council representative of Amantin SHS in the Atebubu Amantin Municipality led by Nana Yaw Effa has stated that the school is under development as part of infrastructural development in the town.

According to him, the school lack classrooms and due to that, students study under a mango tree which serves as a windbreak in the school.

Nana Yaw Effa proceeded that, the school needs to be walled to provide security to the learners.

He further updated that beds have been a headache for school authorities because enrollment outweighed the number of beds the school had.

The Gyaasehene of Amantin traditional council Nana Yaw Effa has finally appealed to the government, philanthropies and every Ghanaian to extend a helping hand to the school for future development.
