The Atwima Nwabiagya North New Patriotic Party (NPP) Women’s Organizer, Ernestina Ampofowah says Health Care is an inclusive package prepared by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Benito Owusu Bio as part of his assurances to better the lives of constituents.

She enlightened that although Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo is implementing lots of policies to better the living standard of Ghanaians yet the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency has a role to play when it comes to the wellbeing of its inhabitants.

“Hon. Benito Owusu Bio has a lot for the people in this constituency especially for the women. Health is one of his greatest priority hence the screening  in the district today,” she said.

Anise Health Care foundation and Health Bank in collaboration with Ashanti Regional Women’s Organizer and the Atwima Nwabiagya Constituency organized a free Health screening for constituents at Adankwame on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. According to the Women’s Organizer, 700 people were expected to partake in the screening yet as at midday, 200 people had been taken care of. She commended the physicians for their commitment towards the course and thanked the Member of Parliament of the initiative.

The screening will travel from one community to the other with the intention of satisfying residents concerning their healthiness. Narrating the former challenge, Miss Ampofowah revealed that monies were formerly handed out to the women for a checkup but they rebuff the idea and squandered them.

She then uttered that the screening was an ideal solution to dig into the health of the people and reduce healthcare costs over time by avoiding costly medical services.

“The medicines provided after the screening is free. The Member of Parliament has taken care of the charges so there is no cause for alarm. Beverages have also been taken care of plus cars for free transport in and out for the activity.

“Gone were the days he gave out monies to the Women to renew their National Health Insurance but majority of them failed to therefore this opportunity is the ultimate,” she added.

Members at the scene expressed sincere thanks and applauded the Member of Parliament, Hon. Benito Owusu Bio for his kind gesture towards the constituency.
