Affum Armstrong, popularly known as Opanka showed more of his benevolent side on Independence Day by sharing free dishes that he made on Ghana's 63rd Independence Day Celebrations to some of his fans in Accra.

Opanka has always been known to have a soft spot for the people, as the Ghanaian rap sensation has regularly taken time off his busy schedule to show love at different points in time. 

Last month the rapper visited Twedaase Primary School located in the Tema East Municipality. He showed love to the students of his former school by sharing numerous goodies with them.

Now the rapper has added another feather to his humanitarian cap by embarking on this initiative to support the "Eat Ghana", campaign that started back in 2017. 

“I am trying to raise awareness on the need to eat Ghanaian dishes as well as putting smiles on the faces of people, on this special Independence Day. Ghana is all we have whether we like it or not so let’s join heads and make it a better place,’’ he said.

Opanka is expected to drop his first single of the year in March and it features another music sensation Kelvynboy.
