Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has asserted that only poor people feel the need to show off, especially on social media. She stated that the ones who are rich do not feel the need to publicize anything to anyone. 

She revealed that people who feel they have something to prove are always the people that are intimidated by what other people have explaining that since they have nothing they would feel the need to prove they have something on social media where the world is watching. 

“Most people who show off on social media have nothing ... wealthy people usually have nothing to prove to anyone!”

“Most Ghanaians believe that showing off your material possessions is a sign of “reaching There”.
“These individuals take to social media with every achievement to seek approval from the world that does not really care about what they have,” she added.

This comes as the latest in the flurry of her tweets as the actress has always been vocal about ethical issues, more so during the period of the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

She has aired her controversial opinions and has given her diverse opinions many situations.
