Selina Boateng has told that she will only take the coronavirus vaccine under God's directives.

The gospel artiste said this concerning the Covax vaccines that arrived in the country on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at the Kotoka International Airport.

Split opinions have been rendered concerning the vaccines; while some Ghanaians believe in the vaccine's ability to protect against the virus, others do not - as some even still do not believe in the existence of the virus.

Selina Boateng maintained that although Ghana is the first less developed country to receive six hundred thousand doses of the vaccine from one of the world largest manufacturers of the vaccine, serum institute of India, she would not take the vaccine if it were presented to her on a platter of gold.

She implicitly admitted to sharing a general sentiment that the vaccines are the antics of the antichrist or a scheme for the devil to proliferate his work in Ghana.

The “Alpha & Omega” hitmaker earlier lamented that Twi songs are not recognized on the international scene and are therefore difficult to perform because of the Twi language's low market value.

According to her, her ability to sing in English and mixed with French made a path for her to tour many European countries such as France, Belgium, Norway, and Germany even though that’s not their language but because she sings in English they all loved it.

She, then, took the opportunity to thank her boss, Mr Charles Sarpong for encouraging her to be different by singing in English and French. She is also encouraging her colleague Gospel singers to start singing in English and possibly French so they can make greater impacts.
