One confirmed dead in the Builsa south district after a heavy downpour
The girl died in the collapsed building following torrential rains.

A little girl has been confirmed to have died at Kanjarga Jeninsa in the Builsa South District in the Upper East Region on Wednesday night following torrential rains that flooded several communities in the Builsa south district.
The Assemblymember of the Area, Honourable Charleson Asoalla said the room in which the family slept collapsed and fell on her whilst she was asleep at the dawn of Wednesday.
Honourable Asoalla said the room was weakened by the floods, saying immediately the walls collapsed on her, the people around raised alarm but they couldn't retrieve her alive.
Meanwhile, a preliminary assessment of the flood situation by the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has indicated that several people and farms have been displaced.
