Oforikrom Municipal Assembly Overwhelmingly endorse MCE
Hon. Abraham Kwame Antwi pulled 85% of Assembly Members vote and has assured to do more for his folks in the Oforikrom Municipality.

The Oforikrom Municipal Assembly has held an emergency meeting to confirm the government nominee Hon. Abraham Kwame Antwi as Municipal Chief Executive.
The total number to vote was 21 and needed 2/3 of the members.
18 members present voted him YES which is 85.7% to his post and 3 members voted NO which represents 14.3% after the election,
The MCE Hon Kwame Antwi was grateful to H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo Dankwah for the trust posed in his work, the Council of State Member- Ashanti) and entire Assembly Members for the support given as would do his best to ensure more development in the Oforikrom municipal.
Meanwhile the presiding member for Oforikrom constituency, Hon. Frank Frimpong was grateful to the Assembly Members for the support given to the MCE, Hon. Kwame Antwi and urged him to do more in the municipality in terms of development.
Hon. Sam Payne who was representing the Regional Minister also took the opportunity to thank the Assembly Members and advised the new MCE to serve the people of Oforikrom so that the vision of the President will be accomplished.
