Official: Leroy Sane is a Bavarian

Manchester City confirmed on Friday, July 3, 3030 that the move is official after agreeing on a €60m (£54.8m) on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

Leroy Sane has officially completed his move to Bayern Munich.

Sane rejected a new contract to stay at the Etihad after been sidelined through the current season with an injury sustained in the community Shied cup against Liverpool in August.

 

 

Manchester City confirmed on Friday, July 3, 2020, that the 24-year old has “left Manchester City to join Bayern Munich on a permanent deal.”

The two clubs agreed on a deal worth up to €60m (£54.8m) on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Bayern will pay an initial €49m (£44.7m) for Sané with another €11m (£10.1m) in add-ons, while City have also secured a 10 per cent sell-on clause

 

 

Sane made 135 appearances for City across all competitions, scoring 39 goals and assisting 45 after joining from Schalke in 2016, making his debut as a substitute in our 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

He won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, two League Cups and two Community Shields in his four years stay at the Etihad.
