Odeefuo Afankwa III, Omanhene of Breman Essiam Traditional Area emerged winner with 31 out of 44 total valid votes cast.

The Central Region went to the Council of State polls today Friday, February 12, 2021.

The election was held in the Regional Capital, Cape Coast at the Regional Coordinating Council.

Seven candidates filed their nominations for the contest.

After the election, Odeefuo Afankwa III, Omanhene of Breman Essiam Traditional Area emerged winner with 31 out of 44 total valid votes cast.

Kwesi Eyi Acquah, petroleum economist had 13.

Timothy Issac Nana Bonful, Timothy Ebo Essandoh, and Bedu - Prah Peter Armstong King all had zero.

Nkyi Kwame Patrick and Nana  Kwaku Awuku stepped out of the election.
