Soireenews In an engagement with the residents they revealed how fearful they are regarding the drain which poses threat to them and their wards.
Residents fear a transformer that supplies light to the Mensakrom community could collapse if urgent care is not taken.
They are therefore calling on the opinion leaders to Intervene to curb unforeseen circumstances.
Speaking with Honourable Kwabena Amanfo, the assembly member for the Mensakrom electoral area he stressed that the time frame for the completion of the project is yet to be determined but believes it is due to financial issues.
He has been assuring the residents to calm as he engages the authority to proceed on the project to curb future disasters.
