Nsoatre Traditional Council has called on the youth and residents in the area to remain calm as it has only one legitimate king in the person of Obrempong  Henneh Anfranfo and to ignore acts by one Agyei Korang posing as king with the support of the queen mother, Nana Asuama Kesse II.

Speaking at the Press conference organized yesterday at the Palace, Nana Henneh Asuman, Dabehene, gave the history behind the chieftaincy issue, stressing that there is no legal or traditional basis for the queen mother to thwart the rule of the enstooled king.

He counted on a number of issues of the mental health status of the self-imposed chief, Agyei Korang, as he could not prove otherwise in court.

He also called on the Omanhene of Dwenem to desist from attempts to settle the acting presidency, which is in the contest with the Nifahene and the new acting president in the person of Nana Balfour Gyamfi Awuah who also doubles as the Ankobeahene.

The Daphne alleged that the family Agyei Korang represents has no royal cemetery in Nsoatre and the majority of the kingmakers are behind Obrempong Henne Anfranfo II.

He also gave the royal family of Nsesreso who is the custodians of the queen mother stool one week to advise the queen mother or they would hear from them soon.

Nana Kwabena Yeboah, Abusuapanin of Nsesreso royal family, however, said the queen mother Nana Asuama Kesse is bringing the Royal Family into disrepute and therefore gave her one week to repent from her ways or resign else would meet the wrath of the deity of Nsoatre.

Meanwhile, the acting president of Nsoatre Traditional Council, Nana Bafour Gyamfi Awua, called on the residents, especially the youth to stay calm as there are moves by the council to find lasting peace for developmental projects to go on.
