Some NPP Youth in Ahafo Region have accused the party top hierarchy for failing to heed their cry to reward them with job opportunities following their toil for the party to win political power.

Speaking to Soireenews at Dadiesoaba during the annual General meeting of Tescon branch at Dadiesoaba Nursing and Midwifery training college in the Asutifi South District of the Ahafo region, a former Financial Secretary of Sunyani Technical University branch, Mr Prince Kofi Nyatakyi expressed his worry about how they have been neglected by the party.

According to him, after suffering and sacrificing for the party to garner overwhelming votes at the grassroots to win power in the 2016 general elections from the NDC, they are yet to receive a single reward from any party executive.

He claimed that they have been used and dumped by their leaders and that, no top member of the party seemed to care about "our current plight and predicaments."

Ahafo Regional Organizer for the party, Mr Micheal Osei Boateng (a.k.a Pope) assured the youth that authorities will take note of their challenges.

He encouraged the youth to avail themselves in upcoming Constituency and regional elections.
